We got an angry warning from comcast recently for downloading a torrent with copyrighted content in it. Is there nything that could get me in trouble in AID?

No not at all, aid is made up of 100% free ware and in no way is against any laws.
I have Comcast as well and have downloaded it many times with no warnings or any word at all from comcast.

Ok, thanks! I was just worried because the XBMC guys said they couldn't release the xbox version because of some legal stuff. I'll go download it now!

Most of the programs are freeware and homebrew but there are still some original M$ files in there which are no doubt copyright.. eg. dashboards, bios _________________ HQ Network:
