Okay can anyone help me please I have my xbox modded with SID 4 and the problem is if I leave it off for 4 hours when I turn it on it goes to the
MS dash and makes me set the clock then I have to reset it to get to the Unleash X dashboard.

Is there any way to fix it so that if it is off for 4 hours it doesn't make me go to the MS dash to set the clock.

Can I fix this ??

Any help appreciated

Leave the xbox plugged in. If you unplug it for 4 hours it will make you reset the clock.

The Xbox does not have a battery like your PC, or watch. It uses a capacitor battery.

When power is removed from the Xbox, the charge in the capicitor gradually begins to decrease, until eventually its empty. At this point, the memory is reset and things like time/date need to be re-entered.

Like darth said, the only way to avoid this is to have power going to the Xbox all the time. The Xbox doesn't have to be on or anything, but the power cord should remain in place and on.
