Ok now i need to know if i can take the HDD from the XBOX and hook it up to my PC.Now do i have to move the jumper or can it stays where its at(cable select)just let me know. thanks

it wont work like that, cuz windows or linux wont be able to view the FATx partition the xbox uses, unless u use a program to view it, n plus the xbo hard drive is locked with a hexademical password, i'll need ur eeprom key from the xbox to unlock it, wat r u trying to do exactly??

or what if i take another HDD from an xbox do u think i can use it because i think my HDD if mess up very badly

nope, every xbox hard drive has a unique eeprom key, n therefore, u can not switch them into another xbox, that's M$ for u

Yes you would need to get the EEPROM off of your hard drive first if it is a softmod to change one over. If you have a modchip I believe you can throw a new one in and the chip will fix it up (not 100% sure on this, been out of the xbox1 scene for a while lol) Another member will help you out if it is possible
