I am trying to do a softmod but do not have the action replay for the computer only the xbox memory card. Can I get the exploits on the memory card with a FTPflash?

You can but only with a modded box!! .. So unless you have another modded box lying around i think you will need a action replay or a friend who can transfer the files over to a mem card for you..
Please correct me if im wrong anyone.. lol

yea i figured that, I've been searching for this answer and for an action replay all week. I am on holiday vacation and trying to mod my brothers xbox, my action replay is back home and I can't find one at any of the used game stores yet here.

maybe a member might have a old mem card lying around for sale?? Put a post up.. WANTED: MEM CARD!

You can make an action replay. All you need is a usb cord and an extra breakaway connector for the xbox controller. Cut off the male usb end (the one that plugs into the pc) and the end of the breakaway cable the xbox controller plugs into. strip the wires and connect by color. There will be one extra wire that isnt needed. With that you can plug your xbox controller into your PC and it works just like an action replay (with the action replay software). You can also use the xbox controller for PC games with the proper driver.

ok i did a mod to a controller and can connect to a pc. I have AR s/w and sid5.0. I unrared the files and want to be sure what I do next
do I have to unrar the sid5.installer and the sid5.loader.splintercell.ntsc beforem I copy them to the memory card?
or do i copy over the rar files of the above.

Thanks for all the info and help here. I think my files were just getting corrupted with this controller mod. I bought a crappy solder iron at rat shack and made a mess of things. The solder joints were not that good--I miss my weller iron,lol.
Anyway I ran out of time and had to head home, I just might use my AR here at home and send the memory card so he can do it.
