Posted: Tue Jan 29, 2008 12:33 am Post subject: Upgrade 4.12->4.13; Project Mayhem III skins missing text
I just upgraded from AIO 4.12 to 4.13.
I'm using XBMC as my dashboard, and was using Project Mayhem III as my skin.
After installing 4.13, all of the text in PMIII is missing (same with the PMIII variants, like SE).
The other skins work fine and have all the text... it's only PMIII that has problems.
Any ideas what might have gone wrong and how I can get the Project Mayhem III skin working again?!

I see this is your first post so let me say welcome to the HQ enjoy the site and all the HQ sites we offer.
A good quick fix wold be to go here: http://217.118.215.116/ and download the new build, get the PM 3 skin folder out and ftp it to your xbmc skin folder.

i tryed to do just that myself i also ftped the new build of xbmc hoping it would fix my pm3 skin but it didn,t i have no fonts in the front page when it loads or on the left side of any screen.i tryed backing up my user data and then ftped the new build over then ftped my userdata folder was hoping it would fix it but it didn,t if anyone can tell me how to fix this please let me know i,ll check back in a fews days thanks in advance

Save your user settings some ware on the side and use the user settings that comes with the new build and then see if it shows right.

I tryed that also and still the same thing no text on anything to the left side of the screen or the front dash it doesn,t say video,pictures or anything i,m missing something on there this is from the newest build so if anyone has any other ideas please let me know out side of rebuliding my hard drive again and then freshly installing xbmc the other skins suck no section for xbox games already on my system
