hey there guys...
my query is regarding backed up games. let me explain...
i've got two xboxes. my 1st was a new xbox with the LiteOn drive, and i seriously needed to be able to save my originals, thus needed it flashed so i can make backups. well, did some research and found that it could'nt be done without a drive swop. i couldnt find someone in my area (Johannesburg South Africa) to do it, so i bought an older xbox 2nd hand wich has a BenQ drive. so i went ahead and flashed that with the benq ixtreme 1.41. my backups work perfectly on that machine, but! (here's the kicker )
i since found someone who did a drive swop for me and also, just to be sure, had him try one of his backups to make sure that the drive is working before i paid him, and success. ( he replaced it with a sammy ms-28 drive flashed with the samsung ixtreme 1.4).
very happy me, i got home and tried playing my backups - which i made with a samsung drive flashed with kreon firmware - and no go. it gives me some error about cleaning the disc or restarting the xbox.
now this is what bothers me, the backup he had, worked on the ms28, but mine - that work perfectly fine on my benq - don't!
i since called him and asked what the problem could be and he referred me back to the ixtreme patching or some or other on the images. i've used mulleter to make sure all my images are in fact ixteme ready.
has anyone got any idea of what the problem might b?
Sorry for the long query and thank you for your feedback.

By double posting, he means you posted the same thig in more than one section of the forums. You don't need to do this mate, we'll always find your new post, no matter where you put it, so you'll only need to post it in one section.
thanx guys. i do however remember signing up as a vip member, but it doesnt allow me acces to post my query under the same topic in the 360-hq forum. any ideas?
many thanx.
