I have been trying to install linux on my xbox. I installed a usb female connector in the first controller slot which required me to take out my hard drive and cd rom drive. I just recently booted it back up to try and do the mech warrior install. Instantly i got the 2 reboots and then the flashing lights. Im curious how to get around this. Do i have to flash the bios and flash the EEPROM? How do i install the cromwell if the xbox wont even show video??

Im lost bro, you said you took out the HDD and disk drive but with out them the xbox cant boot so put them back and mod it like this: http://www.360-hq.com/modules.php?name=Profile&op=myblog_view&blog_id=249&id=90842
