Up until a week ago I was in a good place converting to XBMC on my Xbox. In the process, I somehow corrupted my dash but was still able to boot directly to a game and then via the vulnerability to the boot loader. Then I left the xbox unplugged for a week and now the device has lost it's time and thus will not boot directly to a game (tries to load dash).

Now I just get error code 16. Is there anything I can do to get XBMC loaded with the current state of this thing? I would rather not hard-mod if possible.

Are you using the stock HDD and do you have your eeprom backed up?
