Im am using the member sik wit it 's moded xbox n i am trying to stream movies from my labtop to it so i can watch them on my tv . I have the xbox hooked up to my route now i dont how to get my labtop files to show up on the xbox what do i do ? i've also tried power cycling everything that failed also.

He is using my xbox which is softmodded with unleash x as the dash and trying to use xbmc to stream movies via the network....ihe has my xbox so i cant walk him through how to do it or i would....i know you can do it i just dont know what settings he needs to change. _________________

In XP and Vista alike you need to set the drives and folders you need to use to share and then what i do is set up a work group, name the work group and go to add source in your video section of XBMC and add the work group and its info.

Haha its my girls bro...i let him borrow my xbox while i was at work...he couldn't figure out how to stream movies so i told him to hop on here and ask b/c i knew u could explain it better than me. but we finally got him setup.. thanks for the help wes _________________
