Ok after upgrading a few hdds i find myself with alot laying around. What should i do with them? I have two 8 gb, one 10 gb, and a random 30 gb. I may have another 8 or 10. I know i can't throw them away, so any suggestions?

Leve them stock so if your xbox HDD fails you can slap it back in for the time it takes to replace with a bigger one.

Or you can do this. Wink

you could erase them and put an OS like Ubutu or DSL on it but you might just want to leave it stock

Just give that guy from the vid a call, I'm sure he will give you one or so to practice on. Laughing

My wife watched the video and said she thought it was a waste. But I explained to her the HDD are only 10GB at most and you can buy flash memory with that much on it today. I told her that even if you managed to chained them all together as one storage it would be equal to 15 TB drive but consume roughly 30,000 DC volts of electricity!! Shocked Who would pay that light bill?

I keep some small HDD laying around just to experiment on them, I would rather screw up an old small HDD that a brand new large one.
