My regular x box won't work. It flash's green and red and on the tv it says call customer support. Does anyone know how I can fix this?

Welcome to the XBOX-HQ, we hope you enjoy this and all the other HQ sites we have to offer.
First off we need to know what error number its giving you in the top corner.
If its an error 21 you need to pop in a live enabled game with the net cable disconnected and go in to the live option to update your dash.

Oh damn, the dreaded clock error and you must have had it unplugged for a few hours.
Do you know any one with a chipped xbox or do you have a copy of your eeprom?

no not that I know off. I'm not too savvy about this stuff so I don't even know what happened. All I know is my xbox in 2006 totally tripped out, the cd rom would eject and retract constantly unless I unplugged the thing totally. So whenever I wanted to play a game I would have to plug in the xbox and leave the cd rom to eject and retract back into the xbox constantly for about 1 hour, after 1 hour it would just usually stop and I can put a game in there and it would work fine again. Untill I stop playing. As soon as I stop playing the process happens again. Untill recently, I plugged it in to let it do what it does before I start playing but what it did was display the xbox support sentence on the tv and the green ring would turn green then red constantly.
