Welcome to the XBOX-HQ, we hope you enjoy this and all the other HQ sites we have to offer. Very Happy

What chip is it and what bios?
AID has a one click install option that should build the HDD and make XBMC your default dash for you.

the guy i bought it from was not sure, all i know is that it says "XBOX Hacked Mourning wood" in the top left corner at boot up, is there a way to see the chip/bios with opening it? i can open it and look at the chip itself if need be

just want to say thanks for the help so far and located what it is, DuoX 2 Cromwell/FlashBios Edition "not the GS edition, 1 wire going to the led and the other going under the board somewhere, my pics of it came out to blurry so i found a pic on the web, any help or info how to get the XBMC to boot at startup would be really appreciated. THe pic shows the switch in the up position but mine is in the down position if that matters

Cool deal now just launch the AID disk and go in to the dash install section and do the install for XBMC to the E drive, if the xbmc build you have now is all set up with you info like ip and weather settings back up your user data folder before you start.

I managed to get it to boot on its own but it is booting to the MS Dash - just need to figure out how to get it to load straight into the new dashboard
