hi, my xbox dvd drive has gone bad, and so, i was just wondering if it is possible to take a dvd drive from any other source such as a computer and put it in my xbox and make it work? is this possible? thanks

no, for one the power connector is different, and two it uses a special laser to read the xbe. file on the games, but u can buy a mod converter that can convert a normal one into one u can use for the xbox

They do have a few modles of LG and samsung PC disk drives that can be modded to work in the xbox.

Yeah swapping out one xbox drive for another works well, the PC drives just read more types of media if you got the cash to blow on it.
