What's the deal here? Is this like an unmoddable firmware or something? Any help is very, very much appreciated.

Highlight the installer then click right, it should give you the option to `copy` or `delete`

Nah, I got it on the memory card alright. I had to make my own Action Replay type thing out of a controller. I mean that when I go into the memory in the xbox, it only has an option for delete, and not an option for copy. Do I have to have an Action Replay to do this?

No. When your in the xbox memory menu go to the linux installer file. Now press right and then click A. It should now give you the option to copy or delete.
