Ok, I have my XBMC all up and RUnning on the latest Version and all that works fine, However,
I can not run the MSDash
I go to Apps & Click Microsoft Dash & the XBox restarts, Shows the XBox Logo & the Restarts again into XBMC
So its some kinda Problem with my MSDash Files.

I dont know how that part works, are the Files in the E\apps\MSDash folder copies of the original MSDash files from the root of the Original C drive?

Can I just copy the original files from C over them?
or where do they come from?

Thanks for any Help, Links to Tutorials or Anything!

-Becca

Why do you need the MS dash?

You can set the mod dash to update the time via the net and you can add save files with a file manager in the Udata folder in the E drive.

If you really need the MS dash i guess you can get it off Xbins, the AID disk or from the backup folder.

Be careful not to over wright anything that pertains to your mod dash.

Thank, I will locate it on AID.

See the time problem happend on the road, The XBox haddent been turned on in a while & after being on the road for 2 hours a friend fired it up only to get flashing lights & such. When I got it home 2 days later I had the same problem until I plugged it into the Net, So it goes to figure it was the time issue.

As for which files are what, I would realy like to learn more about that.
I am Running XBMC as my Dash and its located in a Dir Structure like this,
(((My C Partition)))
C
-Audio
-f0nts
-fonts
-Skin
-xboxdashdata.185ead00
-xodash
xboxdash.bak
xboxdash.xbe

(((The Apps Folder on E)))
E
-apps
--dvd2xbox
--MSDash
--XFTP
--XBMC

Anyways, what can I read to learn more about what is what?

Thanks,
-Becca

I know that, but thank you.
What I was reffering to is such as, How does the XBox know to Boot to E/apps/XBMC

Is there some kind of AutoExec.bat type file, thats maybe Text based that I can edit & play with?

I want to learn more about the boot process & that stuff.
Any Tutorials or Detaild pages one that topic would be great!

The soft mod has an XML file that tells the soft mod to boot from E instead of C.

Back up your C and E to your PC and just look over the XML files with a text App and you should be able to figure it out no prob.

Sorry but i don't know of any guides for this off the top of my head.
