Posted: Wed Apr 02, 2008 10:02 am Post subject: How Much Free Space is on the Xbox's Hard Drive?
I'm about ready to put a bunch of emulators and roms on my Xbox but i'd like to know how much free space is on the Xbox's hard drive so I know how much stuff I can put on it. I'm talking free space, not how big the hard drive is. Like for example the 360's hard drive is 20GB but there's only 13GB of free space, the other 7GB is reserved for updates and stuff.

Check in your file manager guy, we don't have your xbox so really how are going to know how much free space is on your xbox?

lmao...i was thinking the same...generally they have about 4.4gbs on a stock...after a softmod anyways.... _________________

You both are over looking the 2 GB hidden on a samsung HDD if thats what he has and you have no idea what dash he is using (evox will use less space then XBMC) so your back to the start.
If he was to format the drive he wold have from 8 to 10 GB and thats all the info you can really give.

im not overlooking a thing...hence me saying "generally" they get about 4.4 with a softmod...because generally not everyone gets an hd with the 2 extra... _________________
