The emu will boot , but when i FTP'd all my roms into the rom folder , the Emu doesnt recognize or "find" any roms when i run it... I tried to FTP them both zipped and unzipped....Has anybody else had this problem?

I haven't played xSNES9x recently, but I know some emulators have a "refresh" function... maybe this one does, too... can't remember! The emulators that have this function won't "see" any ROMs in your ROM folder until you do a refresh...
I had some ROMs that worked on my PC but not on Xbox. Someone told me that some emulators need a different format ROM than others. BS or not? I dunno... but the ROMs did not work! _________________ The World's Most Awesome Xbox 360 Room

i dont see why it isnt recognizing my ROMS , i have tried everything , the PC version on xSNES works fine. I ve tried everything even deleting the emu and FTP'ng it again..

As I said above, supposedly not all ROMs are created equal.... I had ROMs that absolutely worked on the PC version, but not on Xbox. I don't see why this should be the case, but it was _________________ The World's Most Awesome Xbox 360 Room

well , i half solved the problem , i can get the emu to detect the ROMS on the BROWSE DVD function , but the games have to be in the root folder also... But even after i BROWSE the DVD i still cant get them to be detected from the ROM folder , i guess i'll just have to play them from DVD...Which is fine by me

ftp the config file from the emulator's folder ,
open it with a text editor and look for the rom directory line ,
whatever is in there thats where you have to put your roms in for that emulator ,
or you can edit the line to whatever directory you want , then overrite the file with the one you edited and put the roms in that directory ,

I use it so often in fact for editting files or writing notes to myself that its earned a spot on my Quick Launch bar.
