Avalaunch will support the HD cables, try it with that dash.

Dont worry . After much researching I found out what the problem is. Apparently with my HD cable you have to have it on components mode for the Optical to receive DTS Streams...however I need to use it on composite mode so im screwed really lol.

Yeah it really does suck as I paid alot for that POS cable.....I guess I need to look for an Xbox official one which wont be easy.

Well I have ordered an Official MS advanced AV pack with all the bells and whistles and hopefulyl I will be able to enjoy crisp proper surround sound soon lol.
