I was a complete nooby to soldering my X3 onto my Xbox 1.6. The PCB rebuild was great and I found it very easy to solder onto my Xbox motherboard using a tutorial. The solderless is the easy way into it, however I have heard from many sources that it can be very unreliable and come out of place which means you would have to go back inside your Xbox and sort it out.
I think if you just take your time the soldered option is the best way to go personally.
However thats only my opinion. Do what is best for you. Infact I had a friend round to give me a hand...perhaps you could do the same. _________________ XBOX V1.6

Good deal, Happy to see it worked for you and if you need to get back in the X3CP just hold down the white button when its booting up the xbox.

Good ol bad @$$ XBMC and just as a failsafe i have avalaunch set to boot when i hold the A button on boot.
I think once you get the hang of XBMC you dont need anything more.

Just if you flash more then one bios, you can use them to select one or the other with them.
