Hi There,
I have some problems with my XBOX. Due to a movement i haven't used my modded box for half a year. Now when I start the XBOX it will only boot to the MS-dash.
It's chipped with a Xecuter 2.3-lite and i have cheked if no wires were broken. Both the blue LED's are burning so I'm guessing the chip is working. When i start the XBOX is showd the XBOX logo, but not the tect with Xecuter under it, just microsoft.
I have downloaded AID 4.13 and burned it (is it normal if you can't see the content of the disc on your pc..?). But it also wont boot from it. Even Slayer's wont work. Now I am stuck, i dont know what to do next.
Every suggestion is welcome..
My English isn't very good (a Dutch dude you know), i hope you understand what i meant.

Welcome to the HQ man, we hope you enjoy the site.
You wont see the disk info from a PC since its in xiso format and your pc cant read it.
Sounds like the chip is not working right, did the 2.3 have a bank select?

Yes is does have a bank select, and i tried it at both the banks, but no result. I am thinking that the bios is lost. How can i see that a bios is loaded, and how can i flash a bios?

I tried to ftp to it, but it is impossible to make a connection. Do you have any other idea's?

It sounds to me like the chip is working power wise and all but if its just booting to MS dash then the chip must have lost its bios, sounds like its just your chip wanting to die.

I love and run the Xecuter 3 ce, its got the most options and best interface.
If you want a good all around chip with plenties of options and a lower price your best bet is the Xecuter 2.6 CE lite.

Those chips do have a solderless option too if your not good at soldering. _________________

I dont know anything about modchippping. I did open my xbox to see what was happend when somebody else chipped my box. Is it difficult to chip it from 2.3b lite to 3.0CE ?

If you get the solderless option for the 3CE then no. You will probably need a walkthrough like I did though. Flashing the damn thing is a patience test! If you can find a solderless 3CE let us know and we will be happy to walk you through it. We have even been known to talk you through it over the phone right Wes! _________________

Talking to me om the phone will be expensive, i don't live in the States. I'm hoping to find a X3 solderless, not easy in Holland. There sold out on the webshops i've seen. But I'm patient, my time will come. I will let you know if i found one.

I know the X-3 will set right on the pin header of a 2.6, so the X3 and X2 might work on the pin header you have i wold need a pic to know for sure.
