it seems im hogging loads of peoples time, but anyways im going to my mates house where my box is and where gonna go online, he has a router as far as ive read, i will use a ethernet rj45 (standard not crossover) auto dhcp settings in xbmc, and it shud work right? i read somewhere i may need to flash something, i think his router can be flashed he mentioned something something linux when i get over there ill post what router he has cos i dont wanna mess his setup up!

You onley need to flash the router firmware if you want to run kai off of it.

But the best way speed wise is running the kai engin of a PC.
