Is anyone else AID 4.20 missing the rom-set addon pack? I'm pretty sure I have everything else, but I don't have the rom-set addons. Let me know what if you got it or not. _________________

AID will not give you any roms it is there so you can add the roms you have to it and make aid install the roms for you.
But like i said aid has ne prepaked roms in it.

That's cool. The way it's worded in the manual, I thought they should be there. Even though, there still is no Romset Folder on the v4.20 after I unpacked everything. No big deal really, I was just curious. _________________

If DJB put a bunch of Roms in the aid disk it wold be piracy so he just set it up so you can add the Roms you own to the aid disk.

Well, I realize that. As I said, the way it's worded in the manual made it seem as though it included some. I'm fully aware of all of the piracy issues and policies. Again, if I ever did want to include my roms into the AID disc, I don't have a romset addon for it. My whole point is that folder is not in the new v.4.20. _________________

I understand that no roms were included in this package, but as Dkoots said, the wording in the manual makes it sound like there is at least a folder included for the roms so we can put our own roms into. I think there may have been a misunderstanding (no disrespect to anybody ). So does anybody have the "AID4.Romset.xxxx" folder in the add on folder?
Also, are you supposed to be able to mount the .iso image to AID with something like Daemon tools? I just get a "corrupt file" error. Is this because of the file system format?
Thanks in advance for any help/advice!

In other words, read the manual again.
So I read the manual again and found the one sentence I missed, so I understand that I have to make the add on pack myself.
As far as mounting the .iso image using my PC, the manual does to explain that. Ideas?

Just unpack the iso and put the rom zip folders in the corasponding EMU's rom folder and rebuild it in to an ISO, watch how many you put in since your disk will fill up fast.

Thank you for your help!
So I have not modded by xbox yet as I am waiting for a MA disc to do the exploit....
I have searched EVERYWHERE for information because most answers are usually already posted... However, do you know if the AID iso comes with the game image previews? ex: using an snes emu, highlight a game and there is a box art preview on the screen...
I know there are art packs out there but the tools to rename the roms and/or .png's are not working well for me. From what I understand, the .png and rom need to be named EXACTLY the same thing (except for the files ext). If this is already included in AID, though, I don't need to beat my head against the computer screen anymore doing searches and using filename converters. Any help/insight would be extremely appreciated.
Also not sure if this is the right forum, but wes213, you seem very informed about this and hoped you might be able to help.
Thanks in advance!

Im not to sure about the SNES but i do know the N64 emu has all the box art on it if that helps at all.
If it has no box art you can start the game and take a screen shot and make it the roms pic.

Just un pack the AID ISO and find the corresponding EMU and open its Rom folder, now drop in all the Roms you have for that Emu (still in zip format) and then convert it back to an XISO.
That should set you up bro.
