I've had a modded xbox for 3 years now and have loved every bit of it.
I recently got a new laptop with vista.
For some sad reason i can't seem to communicate my computer with my xbox like i did with my old xp laptop.
is there a way around this?

yes, i used to just open up my network connections on my computer and my xbox would appear right there. i could just open it up and transfer files and what not.
now that i have vista my computer won't recognize it.

I run vista with xbmc on my xbox and if thay are on the same network it should auto detect your xbox so you can use an ez smb share.

at my dads in scotland i had to ftp with my bros xboox and vista laptop (vista eeeeewwwwwwww) ive always found that mapping the hard drive in network places the most convenient way to ftp! but hey it takes different strokes eh? i did get network mapping to work in vista is my point! lol! way too hard tho!
