Hey all, I just wanted to pass a review on for a vendor that I have given two chances to prove me wrong about them... Hopefully, my experience will help someone to not make the same mistake. What is strange about this is another member here once used them and had their product quickly, that is why I gave them another shot. But, his success was when they first opened up, and since then I have seen them close their site down several times and post "were four days behind messages" on their site.
They have pretty nice underglow kits, although I am only judging by the picture since I haven't been able to hold the actual product yet.
They also sell Jewel Light Mod Kits. What I originally liked was their price. You get the Jewel Light Kit and a Jewel for only 19.99. I ordered a few Jewel Kit's about a month ago. After my first order, I got the automatically generated invoice. After a week of no word or product I emailed them. I heard nothing for a few days, so I emailed them again, but this time was a little angry. I was assured that my product shipped and my email with tracking number that was supposed to be generated must've failed so they were going to manually do it for me... Five days later, no email, no tracking number, no product. I emailed again asking for a refund. I heard nothing, but the next day I received a USPS first class package. No wonder I didn't get a tracking number. Plus, I believe they didn't till 10 days or so after my order.
I gave them another shot....but, this time I paid extra for Express mail as I need these products for a customers machine. I figured I would get them here before the machine arrived. I ordered a underglow kit and another jewel light kit. Which, incedently, the jewel light kits are bulky. They only have 3 LEDS, but the mirror helps reflect what little light they give off, so they still look okay, but install is tricky. You have to modify the HD and DVD Drive carriage a little otherwise the case top wont sit right, it ends up being bowed. If you snip off the little clip that secures the IDE cable, it seems to fit better, you just have to make sure the extra wires aren't under the light kit.
Well, I have emailed them on two occasions about my newest order. No reply, no product...and I am extremely jacked off I paid extra for expidited shipping. I even put a message in the comment section about the importance of these products and that time is a factor. I don't see how hard it is to ship something the next day, or even within two business days. But yet, here I am a little over a week later with no knowledge of where my product is.
I was talking to the member who ordered his product from them and got in three days, and it turns out he bought it from EBAY not their site, so I would guess that they don't want negative feedback and EBAY requires prompt shipping. However, you don't open a retail website if you can't service the shoppers... it's totally unacceptable.
So, if you are a shopper that likes to know where your product is and cherish communication from your vendor after they have your money in their pocket, then avoid this company. See if you can find them on EBAY if you want to take a chance, that may be your best bet.
I ended up going the ebay route and found a new style jewel light so I ordered it. It was shipped out the next day and I have already received my FEDEX tracking number. It's from a different vendor who is just getting his website rolling. But, already....he has my vote. We'll see what his products look like then we'll go from there.
If anyone is going to need Jewel Light Mods...give me about two weeks..I am going to build some up using Printed Circuit Boards like the ones customxbox.net sells. However, I am going to be about 9.00 cheaper for the 8 LED ring.

The real unfortunate thing is......
it's your fuc#ing base!!
I took matters into my own hands though as I got an even cooler green light mod going!! It's going to have 10 high intensity super duper bright LEDS!! Plus, I am making it to be super thin like the PCB's that customxbox.net sells. Only, they max out at 8 LEDS.
I also found another vendor for the underglow kits. I ordered some from them and they shipped the very next day, so I trust them enough...plus he lets me ship express and pay the difference where some people don't offer anything but ground shipping.
They underglow kits come in different varieties so I am going to see what they look like. According to FEDEX they will be here Tuesday...but, I am hoping Monday. They are early sometimes. Like the other underglow bases I elected to get the one that plugs into the wall outlet so I don't have to wire everything in your case. If I am reading correctly, these underglow kits will affix to your xbox and then you can disco the cord that is plugged in if you want to move the unit whereas the other ones just sit on the acrylic base. I ordered two extra sets of these underglows...I am all geeked out waiting for them.

LoL I know....why coudlnt they do the same as they did with that jewel?
They wont come Monday man, its some holiday, Columbus day I believe. I was pissed when I found this out...now I have to wait an extra day for my Halo 2 t-shirt and keyring deal.
So now your gonna out a different mod for the bottom eh? How much does that put u out now? Because u know I dont want u to end up covering for me ya know? Sry that they did this.

Don't worry man... You don't owe me anything.
Also, FEDEX isn't closed on Monday as far as I know they are still trucking. The post office is closed though. But, I think FEDEX's trucks are running. They aren't a government office... I'll check into it for you.
What I will do is put the alternative underglow kit on. Then, when the other base finally arrives, I will just ship it to you. You can take the alternative one off and use it on a different machine if you want.
At least this way, all will be done and you will be a mean green machine...HA.
Also, surreal64 is alive and kicking!! I launched a ton of games with no problems. Enjoy!

Well if we do it that way, u keep the base when it comes in. You could prolly resell it, or well, I know u will find something constructive to do with it lol. Besides u think this other base will be better anyways right?

It's wicked cool! Plus, for those with crystal translucent cases I can make it with the LED's pointing outward instead of inward...very very cool effect!

I got an email from xboxspot today.... He said that he is sure my stuff shipped early last week. But, he couldn't be sure until he goes into the office to check... I paid for Express 2 Day Shipping...so, I know he is tap dancing.
