Hiya everyone.....well it is 1 pm in the afternoon here on a Sunday. I played Assassins Creed all day saturday until 10pm and then switched to Call of duty 4 on live until 3am. I have a serious video game hangover. Anyhow just wanted to let anyone know that assassins creed is a excellent game in my eyes at least. It is definetly diffrent and the controls are harder to learn then most games but once you get the swing of it it is a blast! Okay one situation I will tell you about that was both breathtaking and hilarious. My assassin had just got done taking out a guard in front of a bunch of people in the marketplace and one guy runs and gets the guards. Now I am completely surrounded by 10 guards at once and I go into a beautiful dance of death and then there is just guard bodies left and the guy who goes and gets the guards in the first place looks at me and screams run for your lives!!!! It was a amazing moment!!!!! Do yourself a favor and at least rent this one. It is definetly diffrent!!!

I own Assassins Creed for the PS3, a very excellent game. I've been tracking it for months now on IGN and when it was released here on Friday, I bought it. It is everything I hoped it would be, a graphically beautiful, gripping game with plenty to see and do. A definite must, whatever console you own.
Ahem!!! Surely I and FinalCloud are not the only ones to have played assassins creed?

i played it for a few hours when my cuz bruaght it over!!!!
It is a great game i must say, the graphics are the best on 1080i, its so freaking great, i love taking the horse to juraslem(spelling?), and running all the people over while hauling @$$ down the hill, its like dominos lol.
Anyway, the controls were rather easy for me to grasp as i was used to playing Prince of Persia, which you should try out no matter the age of it if you havnt yet. But other than the graphics and controls, i like the way you can assasinate people and pick there pockets, its fun to assanate someone, run around a corner, and sit on a bench like nothing ever happened, or climb up a REALLY tall building and jump off into a pile of hay to get away.
All together, its a great freaking game, i suggest any of you who haven't played or baught this game yet, SHOULD.

havent played it yet but i believe i'll have to after hearing all these excellent reviews website reviews are never helpful to me....always better to hear it [or see it] from someone like me thats played it b4 thanx guys _________________

I'd never been a fan of the CoD series. Previously it had always been the MoH series that sparked my interest and seperated me from my cash. However, CoD4 is the only exception. It's an outstanding game.
The decision to move away from the WWII scene, for me, is probably the reason why I ended up buying it. To be honest, we all expect these days that new games for the 360 and PS3 should be stunning to look at, much like A. Creed is and this game is no different. If they had stuck with a WWII theme, this game would still be sat on the shelf, rather than in my console. I don't know about you guys, but I've played soooo many WWII games throughout the years, that I'm just kinda bored of the whole genre. This game is different though.
It's kinda CoD2 mixed with Resistance: Fall of Man and Advanced Warfighter 2. In all, a good game, plenty of action but like Hypnotix said, not enough to distract me from A. Creed for the minute.

Well I played assassin's creed for about a half hour at my buddys and is a pretty great game. The graphics were very well done and the game play was entertaining as hell. I have CoD4 and it is also a great game. I am so glad that they finally did a game that wasn't set in ww2. I have to say the campain in CoD4 wasn't that great but the multiplayer is incredible. _________________

I gotta say my favorite part of cod4 single player game was when you were with the other sniper and he was teaching you the ropes. That was a amazing moment that will be stuck in my head for a long time to come.

LOL....yeah man Thanksgiving is killing me i try to stay on here as much as possible man...i miss bein able to be on here all the time haha....i got one of the free CoD 4 keys to the demo online and i thought it was pretty cool....its kinda repetitive tho but thats the online play...didnt get to play tha campaign tho... _________________
