Hi,my xbox 1.6 was softmod with 5.01 and i wanted to restored,so i did restored and now the console dont play any original games.i get a message saing that the game is damage or dirty.i try with diferent games and it says the same thing.can somebody help me please.

Try glening the lens and makeing sure all you disk drive connections are tight.

Do back-ups or ones of the HDD work? Before you try the lens thing try clearing the E:\Cache, the X:\, Y:\ and Z:\ _________________

If he reset it to stock then he cant clear the cache folders.

I didn't know he put it stock i thought it was still modded just repartioned. _________________

If you have it softmodded or chipped you can pop in aid to repartition it.
