guys,
I'm trying to transfer my old xbox games to my dvd2xbox and it goes thru but the games aren't being loaded when i click on the icons using xmbc. I currently have a 200 gb hdd using xbmc and I'm using aid 4.10 and have deleted the hdd twice and still no games are being to be working. Anybody got any ideas??
Got other questions as well but this one I need some guidance on....

Are you putting them in your F: or G:/ games folder? In the XBMC programs menu, select the games option, press the white button, and select edit source. Check to make sure the path is correct. _________________
when this sort of thing happens to me i use an alternative dashboard to load the game and sometimes it kicks xbmc into place, deleting whats in your e:/cache folder can sometimes sort it out

you will need to clear all the cache files from the following location
E:\CACHE
then reboot the xbox.

We should really message the guys behind xbmc, unleashx, and any other decent dash that they should put a button to clear the cache! Not that i can't do it, it's just annoying that all the problems stem from a retarded cache, and the only way to fix it is manually. My 2.4 cents (what it costs the U.S. to make 2 pennies, ironically)... _________________

In the aid 4.12 addon pack you can get a skin for XBMC called PMIII SE, it has a button on the main dash to clear the cache.

PMIII has a SE? Wow... I'm really behind on the times! Either way, I'm too cheap to have a dvd burner and only one of my boxen read cd's, and I have to load it like the old PS2's, because the tray broke... I think the thing that holds the magnetic hat is wrong or something... _________________

guys,
I just did that and still when i check the files and its location, it's under the f:/games.
But when I continue to click the icons, it still does the xbmc thing all over again. Any ideas??

Weird... are you clicking on them with "A" or are you using white? Somethimes xbmc is picky about that... I don't think it would cause the problem you're having, but it's worth a try. _________________

Try extracting the game iso on your PC and see if it will let you FTP the game in.

In that same transcation, I've deleted GTA from my xbox after I ftped to my pc. Trying to see if my Castlevaina COD will work and if it does, then I'm in for a long day if I have to do it this way, lol.
Any other ideas?
