hi
i'm looking forward to softmod my xbox original but don't know which mod to perform. Is there a table or something that compares xbox auto installer deluxe vs softmod installer deluxe? what is the diffrence between the two?

welcome to the Hq man to get you going Aid is more for chiped box and to fix and add apps to softmods so you will need sid5.

SID - Softmod Installer Deluxe
The program in which you use to install the softmod.
AID - Auto Installer Deluxe
The program in which to install Apps, Emus, and other such things
Now I use UnleashX dash to install when the SID ask wether you want UnlashX or EvolutionX......

i don't want to purchase an action replay. is there a way to send the save files via ethernet?

If u know somebody with a modded box u can have them save the exploit files to a memory card. _________________

When it comes to putting the saves on your xbox you need the action replay kit or an xbox that been modded to put the saves on your card.

3. Make the Xbox to USB cable, turn Thurmdrive into Xboxmemory card.
Then stick your memory stick into your PC then open program called "USBVIEW" from http://www.ftdichip.com/Resources/Utilities.htm
...When you open the prog look for the idVendor and idProduct copy the
codes (i.e. idVendor 0x13FE id Product 0x1D00) then goto
Now inside of
C:\Program Files\Datel\Action Replay XBOX\Drivers and open up xbreader.ini and scroll down to the [_Devices] and change the codes to your codes
Load up the new driver and it will think your thumb drive is a AR Stick...
Then start the AR prog do the exploit load and git r' dun.... _________________
