Okay my modded xbox wont boot dvd2xbox or xbox media center anymore. I have tried deleting the folders and reinstalling them to no results. I don't know what else to try. My games are still on the hard drive and playable so there are no worries there but I can't get dvd2xbox to boot or xbmc. I didn't even mess with anything. Weird!

This gets handed out all the time but clear the E cache folder and the x,y, and z folders and try again.
I never had a full cache folder stop me from launching xbmc but its worth trying befor you try the hard core fixes.

Yes I already tried that and still nothing. What is so wierd is I never mess with the xbox really unless it is too play games.

Have you tryed to launch them with the defalt.xbe file?

Yes with dvd2xbox I get a black screen and with xbmc I get a black screen with red letters saying fatal error network cable unplugged and a countdown to reboot? WTF!!!!

I cant say for sure but all the stuff im reading is telling me its the xml file.
Did you try to uninstall reinstall xbmc?

Thats an odd one, might try reseting to default by holding in both thumb sticks when its booting XBMC.

I cant tell you what to do about xbmc but for dvd2xbox i had the same problem that it wouldnt boot so what i did is i deleted it from the ftp program and than i installed the same one back that i had saved on my computer but it didnt work so i downloaded the latest version from here and ftp'd it back into my apps folder and that way it worked.

If your dvd2xbox never booted b4 then you prolly have the version they released that simply doesn't work so I would try what justmichael said and get the newest version of it. You can get it on eurasia.nu. I'd also try another version of XBMC from eurasia also and see if that fixes anything. _________________

I just said he should pick it up while hes there its not like they don't keep up with the T3CH releases MOST of the time anyway. But you are right I would just get it from T3CH's site as his server seems to be much more reliable and alot faster. _________________
