Has anyone ever had a problem with no being able to get LEDs to work ? I have replaced the two tri color LEDs with mine and only one of them work. I took them out and desoldered the joints clean and tried again and only one of them will work still. After ten or so retries, it just wont work. It appears as though the plastic piece I am soldering too is getting worn down and melted looking from all of the soldering. Can't really help that with a hot solder gun. Let me know what you have experienced. I did it as neat as the other LED but it is being stubborn.

Try the LEDs somewhere besides the xbox, to see if they are still good... Some may be bad or blown

That's a good suggestion, but I have tried three so far and non work. I think the piece might just be totalled. It looks a bit worn from soldering and desoldering. oh well, I can find one of them easy out of an old XBOX.

before you nuke it and restart, try seeing if the LEDs are actually getting power, it may just be that you wore off the old pads and need to use a via to get power.

Explain that a little more. What should I try? I'm not sure how to test it. I wasn't going to throw it away, one side of it still works.

I'm not familiar with jumpers. I have no idea about this.
