Does anyone know of a good Sega Master System Emu? My AID disc doesn't have one that works. It has one called mekaX, but every time I go to install to the E: drive, it says error and nothing happens. I found another one called SMS that I downloaded, but I'm not sure on how to get it on the box, without flashing it. Please let me know. _________________

You can get the SMSX Pluse here and just unpack it and ftp it to your Emulater folder.

I still don't do the ftp thing. I just create ISOs using qwix and then put them on the xbox from a dvd+rw. Can I do this the same way? Let me know how. _________________

Where do I put the files from the disc? I want to make sure I'm doing this right. I can do roms all day, but this is just a tad bit different. _________________

Just create a folder name of that emulator in the Emulators folder. Copy the files into that folder u made. Basically it installs itself. Restart XBOX and u should see that emu name in ur Emulator section. _________________

Wes: Yes I did them both.
JJ: That's exactly what I did.
I can see it when I go to the file manager, but it doesn't appear in the emulator section of the menu.
I have another problem now. I just went and bought an XBOX from the pwn shop and it works fine, but the dvd drive wont open. I can hear it trying, but it appears to be stuck. Any solutions?
I know I should have gone to Game Stop. I tried to save a few bucks. I guess you get what you pay for huh. _________________

I found the problem. The folder was actually inside the folder I created. I just copied it again from inside the folder to the emulator section. It works now. I knew how to do it, but careless mistakes got me off track. Thanks for the help.
I still need help with that dvd drive issue. _________________

U might have to crack the XBOX open and see if there's an internal issue with that DVD drive. _________________

Look for the manuel eject hole and see if that opens it up.

Ok, I got it to open with the manual eject. It will also close with the button if I give it a push, but it won't budge when it's closed. Seems like something is catching it. _________________

Some of the samsung drives have been knowen to get magnatized and stick shut.
