I got all of the games to where I can select them from the roms section, but most of them lock up when I try to play them or they skip horribly. What's up with that? I haven't had any of the other emulators do that to me. I think I read where it has something to do with the filter or something. I think those three RICE options have a bearing on it. I also see that there ia an administrative topic about this emulator, but I'm ot allowed. What's wrong with mine? It sucks bad

Like the pcsx the n64 emu eats up lots of memm from your xbox so it wont run as smooth as other emu.
As for the admin topic whats the topic name, i did not see an admin onley topic for the n64 emu?

Sorry, it is a VIP Discussion and it is called "Problems with Surreal64xxx". I am not allowed into the post so I don't know if they are discussing these issues or what. Is there any known way to keep it from lockng up? When I try to play a game it says loading and then just locks up and I have to reset the XBOX. Some games actually make it to the title screen and then lock up. There must be a way to make them work. I'm going to get that 80gb HD.

Have you tryed all 3 rice settings ?
It says you were the last one to make a post on it. Yes I have tried all three settings. Some work for some games and some for others.

Yeah that was just an install prob.
Yeah mine makes me pick from 3 options to launch the game, its just how the n64 is.
Like i said the n64 uses a ton of memm the xbox aint got.

So if I put a 40 or 80 gb HD i it then it would run just fine? Which setting do you choose when you play yours?

Like you said it depends on the game as what you use.
Yes if you get that hdd and use the chimp tut it will work the same as it does now with more space.

No the onley thing that will speed up the N^$ emu wold be more memm and thats not ez at all.

Adding more space is not the same as more memory? What would I have to do? Seriously, with the skipping and locking up it's not even worth having. I really want it though.
