This new update is basically just updating Xbox Media Center (XBMC) and all the Scripts and Skins that go with it.
So, if you're an XBMC / MC360 user, this update is a must.

Installation Notes:
Use the AID ISO Updater to integrate these new addon packs into the AID 4.10 ISO. Lite users, make sure you put the 4.11 Update pack on FIRST before the Lite Patch.

do I first have to download 4.11 update and then I can update to 4.12?
in what order does it need to be done, apply the Lite patch at the end?

If you want the full pack you should get aid but if you want to keep aid lite get aid 4.11 and 4.12 and just add the lite updates in order 4.11 then 4.10 and add them all to the 4.10 lite iso.

im in the same oad, i tried burning the regular version but the xbox wont read my dvd so i want to downlad the lite in a cd so i downloaded the aid 4.10 lite and aid 4.11 and i used the aid iso updater and added the addon packs and than i added the AID4Lite.Update.Patch.v4.11 and than i added the aid 4.12 addon packs and than the AID4Lite.Update.Patch.v4.12 is this correct?

OK, firstly you dont need the AID 4.11 update because it's built into AID 4.12. The same will happen when AID 4.13 comes out, it will include 4.11 and 4.12.

Don't use all the Addon packs for 4.12, just start with the 2 update packs (4.12 and 4.12 lite). After that, you can try and throw some addon packs in one at a time to make sure it doesn't go over the 700mb limit for CD.

is that a typo, you mean 4.12 ?
also, you mentioned that DHCP was missing in 4.10, but I see for the Lite version a folder 'DHCP Patch' ? (I've added it once to the iso, but I got an error at end of install of Evo X, so I went back to original iso (could be that cd was the cause, maybe badly written cd or so...).
so I first add the DHCP Patch, then the 4.12 Update Pack, then the 4.12 Lite Update Patch ?
downloading the 4.10 full version right now, same deal there?

That would've been reference to the 4.11 release.
For 4.12 you don't need 4.11 as its built in.
Also, ALWAYS use the latest DHCP Patch (4.12 in this case) and dont worry about the older ones.
