just wondering if anyoneis able to help me as i have a little dilema and would be great to know what to do if anyone else has had the same issue.
my xbox is softmodded and it has been running fine for around 2 years now until last night when it decided not to work, it simply hangs at the loading screen with "XBOX" and the big green X. i cannot remember the ip that i have given it or if it is given by DCHP (we use a router) but i cannot access the hard drive from my pc because i do not know it. i tried to load my evox disc to re-do the hard drive but it would not load either hence my problem. I have a 80gb hdd by the way.
any help welcome
thanks
Doug

Hay man you could try running your dos on your pc and ipconfigall it and see if its still giveing an ip for your xbox
If you can ftp it then you can check your dash files, sounds like something might have got mucked there.

What I would do is Access my router and go to the section that says "Connected Devices" and see what is connected and it will also give the IP it has assigned if your using DHCP....
Also I do not believe that it connects ready for FTP until it has finally loaded either the AID Disc or the SoftDash....
Also Try leaving it unplugged for a day to see if it is just being a pain like that.... _________________

If he unplugs it, it may do the clock loop glitch. Just keep it plugged in but leave it off for a day or two. That can fix things sometimes. _________________
