well my problem began with my kotor 2 disk not working right i wasnt able to use the workbenches or view quests so i decided that maybe it was my xbox and maybe because of the softmod that was installed. so i decided to restore the it to the ms dashboard. when i tryied to run the hd backup it ran some stuff and shut my xbox off. i then turned the xbox back on and found the im now at a new screen for evolution x that only has two opotions, launch disc and system (similar to this http://www.geocities.com/daseamonkey420/images/evoxhd.jpg ) settings and i cant seem to figure out what is going on or even how to get back to the regular evolution dash

Welcome to xbox-HQ we hope you enjoy the site.
Sounds like your soft mod installed a virtual C drive and you forgot to unmount it first, try to boot the AID disk and see if it will run that.
