If you have a modchip it self boots meaning it neads nothing else to run except the Xbox itself. So AID wont boot huh? If you want the top of the line mod chip thats the X-3 and it runs about $80 w/ shipping for one with a solderless adapter. The cheapest good chip I've seen is about $35. Your box isn't booting far enough to alow a burnt disk to load which is why AID wont load more or less. Yep its too late for the back up now. _________________

Yeah I guess your right. Just annoys me that after I told him about 5 times not to do it and his Xbox wouldn't work afterwards he still did it. _________________

I wish he would of checked to see if his save filels were there for the exploit first it would make it so much easier to fix this if he could laod up splinter cell to get FTP access from the softmod install dash. _________________

to cure the error 14 boot the Xbox HDM disc and connect the xbox HDD as the tut says. Use the option 1 to format the c drive and re install the M$ dash then connect the HDD back up in the xbox. You should be golden from there on
