Alright, so I've just begun to softmod my xbox. My goal to to end up with the latest version of Evox as my Dash. (I already have all the files I need)
Ok, so I've just installed a minimal linux system onto my xbox using the mechassult installer. Now, I have some questions about how I can proceed.
Now that I have installed linux, should it be relatively easy to install Evox or put other programs onto my xbox? If so, how would I copy files to the xbox/install evox?
Can I now ftp my xbox with linux installed, and If I can, how do I do this? (I know how to ftp in general, just how to I setup an ftp connection using linux)
I would really appreciate any help you guys can offer me, I've looked all around and can't find any help with this matter.

If your useing the sid 5 game save to softmod just fire up the game and select the gamesave and it will start sid so you can install evox.
After you got that all done you can put in the aid disc to add the apps.

I used the mechinstaller to install linux and I just have the raw files for the new evox build.
I'm finding a lot of trouble in this path and I've found an all-in-one package called "Softmod.Installer.Deluxe.v2.0.Xbox-Hq". It looks really good, so I think I'm gonna undo my linux stuff and just use that method.
