I hex edited it 0611 4932 00DF 00DD to work with mtkflash
i have a ms 25 toshiba-samsung drive, a blaster 360 installed and working. i installed my via 6421 with the latest drivers v5.60 from via arena.
I used i prep and made a bootable floopy. worked up untill i should view the xbox's ms25 drive. it says status 51 should be 70 on 1.IDE Sec Master and status 73 should be 70 on 2.IDE Sec Slave after i hit esc of course.
then i used xbm v.036 to make another bootable floopy which worked. up untill the part where i should view Xtreme Pri Master like in textbook's tutorial.
Then i tried the via 6421 on another computer, installed fine,
then i used the same floppy since the hex was still the same. Booted up to A:\> i type idump 1234567 12345 then turn on blaster hooked up to via6421 and molex power and hit enter it comes up with this: 1.IDE Sec Master which when hitting 1 it says a01 should be 70 and then i go back threw it and hit enter on 2.IDE Sec Slave and it says b0 should be 70.
so then i tried it on another computer this computer loaded the via 6421 just fine no problems
put in the floppy and bam it says no drive detected.
So somewhere my drive is not being detected by mtkflash or idump to get my orig.bin file extracted.
