With the X2 5035 bios you have to alter the original config that comes with the bios. If you make a new one with the config it wont work. Then ftp it to your F:\ and you should be fine. _________________

OK, first off always put your INI file in the root of the E drive, you can use F (providing you didnt disable the option ) but E is best and neater.

errrrmm, actually you can. If you tried to replace the logo and it doesnt show its because the logo is not the right size probably.
Follow my tut at this link for help with configuring the X2 bios using X2OOL
For anyone thats interested, you can replace that "Xecuter Rocks My Box" with your own logo.
Heres what you do (Using Microsoft Paint):
1) Open up Paint from the Accessories Menu in the Start Menu, then press Ctrl + E. The Attributes dialog should appear
2) Set attributes to 180x50 and Press OK. The logo needs to be 180x50 pixels in size.
3) Add your logo/picture in the space provided.
4) Once you are satisfied with your logo/picture, press Ctrl + S to save the logo/picture. A Save As dialog should appear
5) In the File name: field, type: "x2logo" (Without the quotes of course).
6) In the Save as type: field, select 250 Color Bitmap (*.bmp;*.dib) option, and then Press Save.
7) Ignore the warning, and Press Yes
Now you'll just need to FTP the created x2logo.bmp to your Xbox HDD. This file should be placed in your root E:\ along with the x2config.ini file.

open your logo in paint and select Ctrl + E then post a screenshot of this. Also details on the x2config.ini file.
What filename did you give the logo and where were the files put?

Well on my 1.6 xbox the config file has to go to F:\, and it has the 5035 bios on it. _________________

the config file should be fine on E or F. E is the default as if you have a stock HDD you dont have an F so theres no point setting it as default. E is the preferred location. You can actually force the bios to delete config files found on F and default to E only

what are you naming the image file? Try naming it x2logo.bmp, you may have to check in your ini to see the name of the image file it looks for as im not 100% sure what it is. _________________ Hotswap Tutorial|FTP Tutorial|HyperX Flashing Tutorial
