I have a smartxx v3 chip on my box and it is hard modded and everything works fine but the only problem im having is that when i boot up my xbox it boots to the smartxx screen and i set the quickboot mode to boot my x2 5035 bios but it wont boot have to manually go on the smartxx menu to boot that bank.

I dont know too much about that chip but you can install x-select and it will boot to what ever you tell it.

well on my other xbox i did it before and it worked but i dont know why this one doesnt, i dont know if i forgot something or what i could be.

Look on the good side it boots if you set the boot mode on the chip then it seems its not keeping the info you set to it or you pointed it to a nonbootable file.
Are you sure the path is right?

When you set the quick boot mode do you need to put in the path of the app you want to quick boot too?
