Posted: Tue Sep 04, 2007 12:25 am Post subject: Help setting up Xlink with Xbox Media Center...
I can get Xlink to work if I use my computer but I can't seem to get Xlink to work on my Xbox (you know how its integrated into Xbox Media Center). I'm using the MC360 skin if that makes a difference. Can someone tell me what I am supposed to type in for everything (especially engine IP adress). It would be greatly appreciated. Make sure xlink is running on your pc and tell the xbox that the engine IP is your PCs ip and keep in mind you cant run xlink with out a wire from xbox to pc with out a modded router.

yup, u have to have the engine running on your PC unless u can get a linksys router that will allow you to run xlink on it so u wont need the engine running on the PC.

Well blue you dont need to run it off you pc if you get a linksys router and run ddwrt firmware or as i use thibor 15 c .
But with out that you got to run it off the pc and you cant use wireless anything.
And cloud my kai tag is wes213 go fig.

hey, do u know how to run Kai off of that firmware???

What firmware are you running ddwrt or the thibor 15 c ?
For the thibor 15 c you just put this code in the start up script and hit start give it a few min. and your up all you need to do after that is tell the XBMC the engins ip is 192.168.1.1
