I'm working on a nexternal enclosure for 2 IDE hard drives. I have an extra ver 1.1 PSU and I was wondering if thereis any way to add a switch to it so I can use it to power the 2 drives with out being attached to a motherboard. Or, possibly so that it just powers on when I plug it in. Thanks in advance!

You could use one of those Y splitters or whatever their called. Think they are like $5-$10.

That part is taken care of. What I need to know is how to make the PSU turn on with out having it plugged in to a motherboard Smile
