I Just ran the aid 4.10 disk on my xbox and installed the exox dash and setup and it installed find and asked me to restart my xbox and i did everything right and now when i load my xbox it keeps restinf itself and it wont load anydash, it just goes to the bubble screen and keeps reseting, its not the bios and its not the HD because its its a brand new one and i tried formatting the drives again and installing just the dash without the apps but it keeps reseting itself. what should i do?

sounds like the bios cannot find the dash XBE it is expecting, what bios did you replace the TSOP with

its a 256 x2 5035 but the bios works fine because it was woring b4 on my old hd..i think its something wrong with the dash? i dunno

x2 5035 bios is 512k in size did you flash the right size bios to tsop for your xbox

so what dash paths do you have in the x2config.ini file. This should be on the E drive

I fixed it it was the evox dash, i had to install xbmc. mnow the problem im having is when i installed xored and dvd2 xbox with the application install on aid it downlloads fine but when i try to run it on xbmc freezes up.

Hi, Dont want to hi-jack some else's thread but I have pretty much the same symptoms as justmichael.
Quick specs/things ive done:
1. new downloaded Bios version x2_5035_vOld_512k.bin
2. bios (1) has been run through X2ool.
3. Mod Chip: Xecuter 2.2 Lite+
1. Installed many years ago and working fine Xecuter 2.2 lite (solder-less)
2. Had slayer 2.6. now build a AID 4.10 cd (noticed no bios updater tho.. in the documentation 4.10 pdf, says BIOS FLASHER - This is an option which will boot to the EvoX system, in order for you to flash a TSOP or Bios <-- where is this otption in 4.10???)
3. Error 1. Can install evox but when i reboot it just goes in an infinite loop some configuration problem...
4. Error 2. Decided to flash to 5035.. Set the chip to Enable, Unprotected, Bank 2, and reboot.. Xecuter 2 logo comes up and eventually the new media center comes up (could get this worked from AID 4.10 but not evox..)
Its been a while since i have fiddled with the xbox.. just got myself a 200 gig hdd from ebay and thought b4 upgrading a new virgin drive.. lets see if i can upgrade the bios on the retail (old 8 gig) drives...
I am under the impression, that once I have burnt the cd with the bios and an empty file, and reboot the xbox with the cd and correct settings on the chip that a prompt to set my bios will appear.. maybe not?
Any advice/help would be *greatly* appreciated.

If you switch your chip to an unused bank and reboot the xbox it will bring up the screen that lets you flash a bios to that bank of your chip.
You can do this from a cd that has the bios you want to use on it, if thats what your asking.

The things is, I have 2 banks.. I believe both banks are taken up by my current bios..
Do you know if 5035 is supported by an Xecuter chip with 512 memory? I was pretty sure the bios with "old" in it was correct.
When I place the cd with the burnt bios on it, which ever bank I choose it still boots into the newly added xbmc (from AIM 4.10).
Any more ideas?

Since you have flashed the bios with 5053 (which will work on the X-2.2) you cant get to a flash bios screen.
If you are trying to reflash the bios you can use evox dash to do it with an x-2 chip.
