i just got suspended today for no reason?I called customer support and the were having problems with their computer software?Im thinking of replacing my 360 with a ps3.

if you look on craigslist in your local area if you post buying broken 360s i need to know whats wrong with it also know what all comes with it and how much you want and has it been opened. I have got so many from people were it was just the dvd drive lens that was bad or was off by some because really i don't think the fans are making it loud its the dvd drive it hums so loud but i have gotten them like that for only $80-100 with everything hd cables 1 wireless controller even the original box lmao, lots of people dont know theres a warranty left still on them so u can snag them up i did tell a couple people that wanted to sell me there xbox but they were guys that served over in Iraq and i didn't want to buy it from them they worked hard for there dam money so i told them at least. _________________ The one the only Scarface!!

All because you only got suspeneded and has it only been just a day they should have it fixed soon your problem wasnt as bad as hobbs i think he was in silver for like a couple months when he was a gold member lmao. It is is not a disaster. The return rate on 360's is not even considered extreme. There have been far worse products on the market. I find it strange that you got 7 bad 360's in a row. Were they all new? or some were used?
In any case there are millions of first batch 360s working just fine. I have one. I play Oblivion quite a bit. A freeze up is very rare on my 360 like practically never.
It makes me wonder exactly how people take care of their systems. It is not a toy. Hey if it is 90 degrees in your house you probably should not turn it on. Don't stack things on it. Make sure there is space around the 360. Every house has dust so make sure you clean that up. You can vacuum the vents while the 360 not running from time to time.
I used to repair computer and network equipment at the surface component level. What was the #1 problem of most systems? Dust and heat. Remove the dust and many an equipment ran fine after as they did not get as hot. Now that's a repair! $$ChaChing$$!
You may have taken very good care of your 360 and just got a bunch faulty 360s somehow. I just really want to help people see that in may of these bad 360 cases, the real issue was how it was cared for or not cared for. If you know heat will hurt it, do what it takes to keep it safe. ya i can see your point there but is so weird all the regular xboxs that i have had from time to time had so much dust dirt built up in them and they worked perfect thats the crazy part how the regular xbox itself is more durable then the 360 is. But yes alot of people dont take care of there systems and that does happen from time to time. I have a 360 that is giving me problems but i have a well vented area, my 360 is dust free and it still likes to heat up and freeze room temp is like 68 so but maybe i do have one of the bad ones. But like i say if some people dont want to pay $400 for a system get them used or buy one to repair. Get more info on buying one to repair first cus you want to watch out for some. _________________ The one the only Scarface!!

I dont know much about any problems with the ps3, but from what I know about the ps1 and 2, I seem to remember no problems with my ps1, but my buddy's ps2 had quite a few overheating problems. _________________

All i know is make the damn rhing work 7 returns all new out of the box thats crap.
So some other things out thare had a bigger return rate i dident buy those things if i got to return it more then 2 or 3 times i go with something better.

I have a confession to make I am a 100% clean freak. I clean out all my electronical equipment regulary and keep my room spotless. I have my 360 in a very well ventilated area and have never ever moved it while operating or run it if the room is hot. One of my friends on the other hand has his in a confined area with magazines and books all over the top of it and there is no way that sucker can get a breath. Do you know how many returns he has had? Zero. He apparently got one that was made on a good day when the stars were properly aligned and the good luck fairy was throwing fairy dust around like mad. And actually I don't know where you got your facts about the return rate but get yourself a copy of xbox magazine. They did a big article about the red light syndrome and Microsoft admitted that the return rate was above and beyond normal. In fact the pr guy for Microsoft said that the return rate on broken 360's was Insanely High and that is why they extended the one year warranty too a 3 year warranty. I am not knocking your very informative posting but when it comes to the 360's return rate on manufactures defects your information was way off.
