Does the xbox1 read DualLayer disk?

yes and no some dvd drive read them other don,t you will need to try to see

in guide it said he had trouble getting Samsung to read but i think i had a Samsung that read them it may depend on the type of media you buy
what game are you trying to backup you can make them smaller to fit on a dvd-r

Guess ive had back luck, cuz both of my dvd drives wont read sony and some other dl disk. _________________

Yes, it reads DL, ask ive backed up some movies of mine onto DL discs, and they all 3 play. If your in doubt about the XBOX1 playing DL DVDs, then your answer is YES, they do. Buy HP dvds, thats what i use! _________________ Hotswap Tutorial|FTP Tutorial|HyperX Flashing Tutorial

I like to state that I have done it.
I burnt a 360 game in dual layer and the xbox 1 did read it, but played the dvd portion of it.
This is due to the book settings changed to DVD-ROM from DVD+R DL
Yes you can make a multigame disc, but I can't garantee that your dvd rom will read it, I tested this with Old Samsung Drive (the one that reads cd-r) and the latest Hitachi (1.6 xboxes) _________________ Xbox v1.1

Im trying to burn AID with a couple of romsets and its too big for a regular dvd. I tryed HP DL Disk at 2.5x but It wouldnt load. Is there another way around this?
