Ok I just installed my new Hard Disk Drive (I know its compatible with Xbox cause I checked the Xbox-HQ Hard Disk Drive Database) (and I unlocked my old one if your wondering). I'm using Auto Installer Deluxe 4.01 to install the Dashboards and stuff. I have an Xecuter 3CE installed and flashed with the 3294 BIOS and my Xbox is Version 1.1. I want to use Xbox Media Center as my Dashboard. I chose to install it on the E Drive. It installs but I cant seem to get to it. On the E Drive there is a Folder called UDATA, a Folder called TDATA, a Folder called XBMC, and a File called evoxdash.xbe. If I choose evoxdash.xbe it just takes me back to the Xecuter 3 BIOS. I can't seem to get to Xbox Media Center. Can someone help. Thanks. _________________ |Xbox|NTSC|Version 1.1|Hardmodded with Xecuter 3CE Chip and Xapt3r Solderless Kit|Seagate 320 GB Hard Disk Drive|Phillips DVD Drive|Running Xbox Media Center Dashboard with MC360 Skin|

It's not there. There is evoxdash.xbe under the XBMC folder but no default.xbe. I'm going to try installing another Dashboard instead. _________________ |Xbox|NTSC|Version 1.1|Hardmodded with Xecuter 3CE Chip and Xapt3r Solderless Kit|Seagate 320 GB Hard Disk Drive|Phillips DVD Drive|Running Xbox Media Center Dashboard with MC360 Skin|

Yeah but I can't FTP to it I got Evolution X Dashboard to load but the only way I can access it is through the file manager on the AID Disk. It wont boot to it by itself. I can't seem to FTP for some reason hold on i will try. _________________ |Xbox|NTSC|Version 1.1|Hardmodded with Xecuter 3CE Chip and Xapt3r Solderless Kit|Seagate 320 GB Hard Disk Drive|Phillips DVD Drive|Running Xbox Media Center Dashboard with MC360 Skin|

Well boobs, first of all, my freaking chip still didn't came in due to a problem with shipping.
But i just finally received a tracking number and a super cool email of the guys who i bought from saying the following:
Hi we were out of stock on the 250 gig drive so we sent you a 320 gig drive
instead at no extra charge.
Sounds great doesn't it, well I'm allot trough the forum and manuals to prepare myself while waiting for my mod + hd etc.
But i come to understanding that x3 is the chip DUH but x3 is also the name of the bios on the chip, but i have reflash if i understand correct, i want to do the reflash with the same bios thus x3, but now which dash is best if i put that bios with the following setup:
PAL Xbox v1.6
Xecuter3 CE LPC Rebuild
Xapt3r solderless
and of course since the 250 gig whas a nono it will be a 320 gig
I don't have detailed info on the hd but I'm assuming that it's lockable since it's a package with the Xecuter3 CE and called the guy to make sure.
So to come back if i'm correct x3 is the most stable bios but wich dash would go best with that? i think evo but i would love to see opinion from an more experienced modder...
Thanx

Well makaveli1527 it wold just be my 2 cents but XBMC is killing them all way more apps options and uses then the rest.
Main thing is thay update and addon so much and so fast thay started SVN builds, whare other dashes might give you an update a year.
Like i said just my 2 cents.

In my mind yes and by far if you want to do it XBMC can do it.
