Hey all, is anyone interested in purchasing a Samsung DVD Drive??
First reasonable offer gets it. Please take into consideration what they sell for with other vendors prior to making an offer.
I purchased this Samsung for a spare drive when I do mods, in the event that I have probs getting media to work when flashing customers chips. But, I have become quite fond of Xenium's FTP abilities so I have just been flashing that way!! So, I have no use for this puppy anymore.

hi RM,
one of my good friends 'ozzy' on the site needs a new DVDROM.. His old one is playing up big time and all his games freeze most of the time when playing from his original DVD PLAYER..
How much you want for it bro.. Just let me know and Ill pass it on..
Ozzy will want it im sure.. He needs a SAMSUNG..

Dang! If I'd kept my 8-track collection, I'd buy it from ya!
Any idea what percentage of the new Xboxs have a Samsung? Maybe I'll just go to Walmart, buy a new Xbox & check it out. if it has a Samsung, I'll do a transplant with my Thomson and toss it on ebay. If it has a Phillips, take it back to Walmart. Does M$ still use Thomson?
At any rate, excluding the hassle factor, i figure I could buy the Xbox ($150), swap DVDs ( priceless), sell Xbox on ebay for $100, get Samsung for $50.
What's wrong with this picture? Will I have to buy & return 100 Xboxs to get one Samsung? I see mostly Phillips in the newer Xbox's... I have modded seven new machines since last tuesday and they were all 1.6's manufactured in July and August of this year and all had Phillips...not one Samsung.
So, I'm probably not one to ask on percentages...cuz I haven't found a Samsung recently. Now, a member jus shipped me his 1.4 that was made in May of 2004 and it had a Samsung in it.
Out of all the machines that I have done, it was the first Samsung to cross my path!

I guess I lucked out with my first Xbox...it has a Samsung. Has read each and every CD Ive ever put in it. Although, it is not modded.

I did some looking around for Samsung Prices... I figure I'll put a price on it and if nobody snags it up by Monday Morning, then I'll throw it on EBAY.
I have seen the Samsung going for between $79.95 and 124.95...thinking the higher end people have crack addiction issues!!
So, I am figuring around 80.00 plus shipping should be very fair. I am not looking to get rich on it, just not lose my ass on what I paid for the puppy. After all, I used it for about six weeks...HA.
I have perfect size boxes for it, so I couldn't imagine shipping in the states to be too bad, not sure what overseas would be. If anyone over seas wants it, please email me at sales@themodgod.com with your address and I'll check shipping.
If anyone buys it, please make a post that you have paid for it so nobody else tries.
East coast buyers add $9.00 for ground shipping. Midwest buyers add 11.00, West Coast add 15.00.

Nope, nobody did... There was someone who wanted it but he didn't get me his shipping info and didn't answer my email with the requested information, so it was still up for grabs.
Maybe he was busy or something not sure. Forahobby told him it was for sale, but I needed his postal code to calculate shipping to NSW Australia. UPS required the extra information. DJB didn't know his address either.
Since you paid...it's yours
I have your address, will also send out the disks you wanted with the drive so I can kill two birds with one stone...
I must've been in my, "I wish I was a Doctor" mode, so I am having difficulty reading something I wrote down. Is it "Sammy Rd." or "Sammys Rd." or am I totally off base..HA.

Yeh.. Ive never had problems until now with pm's..
I heard you guys mention it occassionally though..
The site is under some serious load lately.. I need to cull the database soon anyway so im sure everything will be back to 100% soon.
Im porting the xboxhq site to a NEW BACKEND of phpnuke and have to recode everything.. Wont be long.. (around chrissy) that the site gets upgraded..
Then all vip member signups will be automatic and also remind members when about to expire..
