Okay here is my issue I softmodded my xbox with a 160 gb drive with Ndure softmod with xboxhdm and apparently the msdash I extracted from slayer is corrupt because everytime i bootup with the eject button i get error 21.
My question since my xbox is softmodded and should boot the auto installer deluxe can I use AID to start from scratch by reformatting the entire drive and install the dual boot msdash/unleashx?

i belive so AID should do the trick
i was messing around caused my hd do fail 9 clicks and thats all folks
might i add i have a chip unpluggged the bad hard drive plug in the new ran the AID reconized the new and formated it for me i hope this helps still a NoB just wanted to share my adventure ther's a tutorial i will find it and post back

Or you could just go to your modded dash (im pretty sure your using unleashx) and go to file explorer. Then delete any ms dash files in your C:\ partion. Then get the ms dash files and ftp all over to your C:\
Edit: you may also want to look to see if all of the ms dash files are still in the C:\ drive, and if you still have a back up of it in your E:\, then uninstall the softmod. Then put sid 5.01 onto it, it may fix your problem. Sometimes when you rebuild the drive with the softmod files on, it may cause some problems with it, so all you need to do is uninstall and reinstall it. _________________
