what bad about the samson 605 its the best one from what ive heard the thomson is said to have some problems and the phillips from what ive heard has lots of problems with minor scratched disks and some cds if thiers any other version of the samsung then i had no idea ive always read post on sites that samsung 605 is the one thats the best.

I did not say it was bad i was saying think about getting one (note the happy face's and wink at the end)more money but worth it thats all and there was more dvd drives then the 605 put out by samsung.

i thought this was funny as hell. my new samsung 605 b drive came in when i installed it into my xbox it did not work properly it loaded halo 2 but it wouldnt load the campaign missions or load multiplayer maps then it stopped working al together so we figured some1 who shipped it dropped it or the drive was just junk. So in my last attempt me and my dad cleaned the old 1 again we went all out we used air duster cleaning the lense again and useing tweesers to pick lint and dog hair off i dont know how dog hair got in but it did so we cleaned it again. So i put the drive back in and what do ya know it works the only thing wrong still is the door jams and you have to tap on it becuase the device that opens and shut it is going out i just thought it was funny that cleaning it again works but a brand new drive they send me supposedly brand knew doesnt work. i guess you have to clean those damn things to the point that they would look brand new to the naked eye. _________________ Xlink Kai alternative to xbox Live and guess what its free.

i found the best place to get new dvd drives is game stop cus the xbox is only $80 now so you get a hole new xbox for spar parts plus i found that if you dvd drive gets stuck its usely the lock plate it has a littal chunk of metal and after time the chunk of metal gets magnitised from the magnet on the spiner and it casis the lock pate to hold stronget so if you replace the lock plate with one from a old cd drive it usely fixes the sticking _________________ <a href="http://www.us.playstation.com/PSN/Users/BUD_TOKER_13"><img src="http://pid.us.playstation.com/user/BUD_TOKER_13.jpg" width="235" height="149" border="0" /></a>
