Posted: Tue Jul 17, 2007 3:22 am Post subject: Thinking of getting Xecuter 3 CE solderless
I have looked at this modchip and like all the features I have read but I am extremely worried that it will be too complicated for a first time modder. Everyone says it is for a experienced modder and that it won't be as easy to use as a Xenium gold s.p. would be. Is this chip hard to install and once I have it installed how hard will it be too transfer files from computer to chip via crossover cable? Also would love to know what programs I could use on it and if AID is still a good program for this chip? My main concern is not knowing what files I will have to download too make it work. I am wanting this mod to store my personal xbox games library and some movies. Any and all information you could give would be great. Thank you

X-3 is one of the best chips in my mind and its no harder to set up and use then any other chip out thare, aid will have all the things you need to get it going and the more complex things the chip can do are things like run an lcd screen, thare is no need for it but once you got the chip down you can opt to add things like this if you want.
Plus the lcd screen is just cool.

if you have fat fingers and cant solder then get a solderless adapter, for whatever you choose to get,
xenium is my favorite chip, but im sure x3 is as good,
the aid disc has everything you need, but you will need to flash the chip with a hacked bios before you can use it,
then just install ms dash to c:\ and hacked dash to c:\ from the aid disc,
